The inevitable influence and spread of globalization of trade and commerce in Indonesia will inevitably catches up with virtually all Indonesian enterprises both big and small. This also brought in the increasing potential for a commercial dispute, both national and cross border. Arbitration has been the preferred choice of dispute settlement among international business, and Indonesia has also adopt the arbitration and ADR with the promulgation of UU No. 30/1999, and has been steadily growing in adoption and dispute resolution method ever since.
In the effort to strengthen and enrich the understanding and even wider adoption of Arbitration and ADR, BANI Arbitration Center and Indonesian Arbitrators Institute (IArbI) with the support from UNCITRAL, are proudly present a one day seminar on Arbitration titled “Is Indonesian Arbitration Law Friendly to Business ?”.
